At Spa, the Fun Cup Boutsen Coyote 1, number 53, shared by the drivers Pascal Courrier, Vincent Hebert and Fabien Pierlot has been qualified in the 15th position (54 cars).
The 6 hours race, is a good test before the 25 Hours race.. Quick times for our car (3rd best lap in race), but some electronic problems, our car is ranked 25th..

Dimitri is 5th, David is 9th, Fabien Thuner will stard form the 12th position, and Vito is 20th.
Race 1 :
Very difficult start for Fabien Thuner, as he is involved in the crash of the first lap, with 3 other drivers and has to give up. The safety car is on track.
Dimitri Enjalbert is in 4th position after the first lap. The first pit-stops begin when the safety car is still on the track. For sure, we need to take advantage of it. Dimitri is the quickest in the box Thanks to the team..
David Dermont is back in the pits the same lap.
Dimitri is now in 3rd position. But will be passed in the last lap, he finished at the 4th position. David is 6th, Vito is 12th.
Championship classification, Dimitri is in second position, 2 points after the leader and winner of the day, Comini.
Team classification : our team remains at the first position, thanks to the points of Dimitri and David.
Last minute information :
Nalio, who finished 2nd, has been excluded of the race : his car is non-compliant !! He has not enough fuel in tank. Dimitri retrieves the 3rd place and the head of the championship (ited with Comini), while David is ranked 5th !!!

2 collective tests sessions this Friday, at Brno, in Tchek Republic. The discovery of a large track where it is not easy to find the right path.
For the first session, Dimitri Enjalbert is ranked 6th, David Dermont, 9, Caroline Grifnee 17th, and Fabien Thuner 20th.

The qualifying session and Race 1 are planned for tomorrow, Saturday.
Give the epic kick-off to Eurocup Megane Trophy at Spa-Francorchamps, the season promises to be both gripping and thrilling.
Next races are planned at Brno in Tcheq Republic, where Dimitri Enjalbert will try to do as good as in Spa, to keep the leadership of the Championship.
Fabien Thuner performed well in pre-season in the collective tests, and will be ramping up with every passing race as David Dermont, already used to the Megane category;
We will also follow the progresses of Caroline Grifnee and Vito Rodrigues who share the blue Megane.
Collective sessions, are already foreseen for Friday.
To follow also, at Spa-Francorchamps, the FUN CUP, a 6-hours race
Part of the team will be at Spa, to take care of the Fun Cup number 53, who will participate to the 6 hours Fun Cup race.

Good news for this Friday afternoon :
The Formula Le Mans has realised the 3rd time of the free testing session,
and Johan-Boris Scheier is in pole for the qualifying session of the Seat Supercopa !!!
Starting on row 2, Dimitri Enjalbert claimed victory in today's Eurocup Megane Trophy race, thanks to a perfect pit stop and great defensive driving against Nick Catsburg at the end of the race.
In driving rain, qualifying allowed Nick Catsburg to claim his second pole position of the season, ahead of Dimitri Enjalbert. The track was still damp at the start of the race, with all drivers opting for slicks.
The track was rapidly drying out and even in the first few laps, the drivers were keen to find the wettest part of the track to keep their tyres cool.
Choosing racing lines which could only be described as original, Catsburg and Enjalbert were inseparable in the run up to their mandatory pit stops. Enjalbert was first of the front runners to pit, while Catsburg chose his moment one lap later.
Once the refueling was finished, Enjalbert performed a perfect maneuver and took control of the race from Catsburg.
Fabien Thuner left the track six minutes from the end of the race, causing the safety car to come out, before the race resumed for two more laps. Despite tyres which were clearly on the limit, "Dim" held off salvos from Catsburg right to the finish. Our driver gains maximum points for the first race of the season.
Pit-stop record for David Dermont as he was the quickest driver in the pits. He finished at the 8th position.
The 15 points of Dimitri Enjalbert and the 3 points of David Dermont enable our team to be ranked first in the Championship team.
Dimitri takes the lead, David is at the 8th position.
Vito Rodrigues who shares his car with Caroline Grifnee, finished in 13th position.

Dimitri Enjalbert: “It’s a great weekend for me, as when we got here we really weren’t very fast. We’ve have a lot of engine problems. I was trying to get past Nicky from the start, but he was too quick. He made a good start, but my team made a perfect pit-stop which allowed me to take the lead. After the Safety Car went back in, I managed to hang on to the lead. It’s a nice victory, it’s important for the championship before we go to Brno, a track I don’t really know too well.”
The first Eurocup Megane Trophy race has been stopped due to a red flag. As a result of a technical problem during the start procedure, the Race Directors have decided to stop and cancel the first Eurocup Megane Trophy race of the season.
Red lights and then yellow lights. No green lights for the start of the race.
The poleman missed the start and finds himself at the 12th position, Dimitri Enjalbert , thinking of a "false" start, is fifth at the first corner. He began his ascent. He is in third position when he is back in the pits for his mandatory pitstop. David Dermont is 9th, Caroline Grifnée hits Fabien Thuner when passing him at the source corner They are 10 and 11th position.
The podium was not more far for Dimitri.
Suddenly, the race has been stopped with red flag. Following the complaint of some teams about the starting procedure, and following the decision of the race directors, the race has been canceled.
Tomorrow morning new qualifying session and race in the afternoon.
Johan-Boris Scheier has been the quickest driver for the free practices this Thursday at Ledenon, for the second week-end of the Supercopa Seat championship !
Qualifying sessions are planned for tomorrow, races on Saturday and Sunday.
Le Mans Series - Le Castellet - their comments ...
Bernard Delhez :
"I have spent a wonderful week-end, even if we didn't get the best final result.
The atmosphere in the team is very very good. The mechanics, Massimo, Olivier, Georges, Olivia, nothing to say, only thrue compliments.
As i was discovering the car at Le Castellet, I was very stressed. But now, I will be able to concentrate myself on the driving of the car, and to look after the performance.
The level of organisation and competition of the Championship "Le Mans Series" are very high. The names of the drivers participating to this Championship shows that it is very serious.
It is important to see, after this first meeting, how we can work together, with the drivers and the team.
I think that we will be able to realize nice races, and to get good results this season. I am sure about it.
We still have a lot of work, but we will have nice surprises.

" The week-end was globally good. The "Le Mans Series" championship is very high. We still have to work a lot, but I am sure, we will succeed. We will be in good condition for Spa.
Bernard and Dominik are very nice and very quick.
There is a good athmosphere in the team, we will have a nice season.

I would likt to thank you for the week-end at Le Castellet ! It was a great week-end, as i gained a lot of new experience.
After being pushed by another car, in the first lap, you realised a great job, to get the car repaired, even if I was realy impatient to go back into the race .. !!
Start of the race at 11 am this morning. In the first lap, the car driven by Dominik Kraihamer is pushed by another Formula Le Mans who can no avoid him.
The extractor of the car is completely broken. The reparation of the car will cost us 24 minutes.
Dominik Kraihamer will come into the pits for the refueling and will remain in the car. After 2 hours and a half, he will come back in the pits. It is now Bernard Delhez who will be driving the car.
It is now 4 pm, Nicolas De Crem takes place into the car. And will remain for 2 hours. Very good times.
The car is now 7th in the Formula Le Mans category and 34th of the general classification.
3 hours to go ...
Bernard Delhez will finish the race, so that he can improve the knowlegde of the car.
We finish the race at the 6th position in Formula Le Mans category, 33rd position of the general classification.
The driver's team is good, and the times also are very promissing.
If Dominik had not been pushed in the first lap, for sure, we would be on the podium.

Le Mans Series - The team is completed !
We now have our 3 drivers to share our Formula Le Mans car, during the Le Mans Series, at Le Castellet this week-end !
Bernard Delhez has joined the team and will be the teammate of Dominik Kraihamer and Nicolas De Crem.
Bernard Delhez, is coming from the Eurocup Megane Trophy, where he took the 3rd position of the Gentlemen Championship in 2008 & 2009.

First race : first podium !!
The first race of the season takes place at Nogaro circuit. 1st for the free practices on Friday, 4th for the Qualifying session, Johan-Boris Scheier starts well the year, as he finished on 3rd position and climbs on the podium of the category he was discovering here as the new car.
The second race is planned for tomorrow, Easter Monday. We keep you informed, of course..

coming from the Formula Renault 2.0.
After Fabien Thuner, who joined our team, and David Dermont, who continues the adventure, we now have signed with new drivers, a woman and a man. They will compete on our 3rd Megane.
Caroline Grifnee is Belgian, Vito Rodrigues is French.
They are used to the Endurance and GT races, they will share the wheel, during the week-end of races : 1 qualifying session and 1 race for each of the driver.
The Formula Le Mans, wich has now been integrated into the Le Mans series mythic 1000 kms-races will be fought out in 5 race meetings making up the 2010 season.
Sunday 7 March, official test sessions were organised at Le Castellet, a day-session and an evening-session. Our car, with Nicolas De Crem and Dominik Kraihamer as drivers, was directly in good position, as they signed the best lap of the day in the category Formula Le Mans.
The evening session had to be stopped, due to the wheather conditions.. some snow on the circuit..
The first race is planned for 10 and 11 April, at Le Castellet.
We keep you informed, of course.
The ELMS European Le Mans Series Championship will now start with a first official testing session, organised at the Circuit of Le Castellet, South of France, on Sunday 07 March.
With a day session, and a night session.
Dominik Kraihamer and Nicolas De Crem, will share the practices sessions, as we still have to confirm the 3rd driver.
The first race is planned at the same circuit, on 10 and 11 April !! See you soon !!
Fabien Thuner, from Switzerland, is now one of our driver !
He will take part to the Eurocup Megane Trophy championship.
Fabien started in 2003 with karting, and joined the Formula Renault 2.0 for 3 seasons.
1 pole in 2008, 1 best lap, and the 4th place in the swiss championship in 2009.
Fabien, was testing the Megane for us : " I was curious to drive with the Megane which is more heavy than the Formula Renault 2.0. But after a few laps, i have been surprised how I could brake with such a car. The objective of the day, was the discovery of the car.. and the team. I have appreciated their professionnal approach, and the general athmosphere. This car and the Eurocup Megane Trophy seems to be the right step for the evolution of my career."

Formula Le Mans, Dominik Kraihamer, the Sprint winner !
The winner of his last 2 Sprint races in Formula Le Mans, Dominik Kraihamer, gives us his comments :
" It was a wonderful week-end for me. For the winning, and the experience I have had by driving with Panciatici, a quick and experienced driver.
As it was my first complete racing season, I had to discover the Formula Le Mans, to find the limits of the car.
I am motivated to improve my times, lap by lap. I am very happy because we begin to see the results of my work. I know that there are still a lot to learn, but I am ready for it !
My objectives for 2010 are.. the winning of the Formula Le Mans Championship.
It will be difficult, as they will be a lot of drivers with experience, we all have the same objective : a seat in LMP1 ..
I will work a lot, I would like to win !
There are very important people helping me; I would like to thank the Boutsen Energy Racing members, Olivier, Georges and Massimo, which are helping me to find my place in the racing world. It is now Norbert Lenzenweger, the teammate of Dominik Kraihamer who is driving. Only 1 lap.. as he crashed in the first lap. The car will be repared for the Endurance race.

Richard Hein, the teammate of Jacques Nicolet will well finish the race, at a nice 4th position.
Endurance race :
Nicolet and Hein, will finish at the 4th position, again not far from the podium.
Kraihamer and Lenzenweger will finish at the 5th position.

Un dépaysement total, une météo de rêve en plein hiver,
une parcelle de désert, des chameaux et des faucons dans le paddock, des vainqueurs de la course qui rejoignent le podium à dos de chameaux, .. sous les chants arabes.
Deux équipages super-sympas au volant des voitures, prêts pour l'aventure
de gauche à droite, de bas en haut : Mickael Sarrea, Frederic Renner, Philippe Vigneron, Julien Piguet, Carlos Sarrea, Jean-Charles Battut, Pierre-Yves Rosoux, Olivier Lainé, Jean-Michel Carton et Sebastien Deveze.
Après la pole en essais (dans sa catégorie), la Clio 86 termine sur la 3ème marche du podium, après avoir mené la course jusqu'à 10h du matin.
Quelques arrêts au stand pour soucis de rotule vont réduire l'avance de 7 tours grapillés tout au long de la nuit.
La Clio 87, suite à un problème moteur, est classée 6ème. Elle aurait pu, elle aussi, terminer sur le podium.
A noter, le 2ème et 3ème meilleur tour en course pour la 86 et la 87 !

2 Weeks after the first Formula Le Mans Winter Series meeting, and after the crash of the car in the Sprint2 race, (thanks to the wonderful job of our team), "Dodo" has won his first race with the Formula Le Mans.
Best time in the free practices, best time in Qualifying session, best lap during the race, Dominik Kraihamer has won his first Formula Le Mans race, for the Sprint 1 race (1 driver per race) !!!
His teammate, Norbert Lenzenweger, with who he will share the car for the Endurance race, has finished at the 5th position for "his" Sprint race (Sprint 2).
Endurance race result : it is for the end of the afternoon
“Pantiatici’s starting tactics did not allow me to overtake him on the first corner, which was perhaps the only chance I had to be able to control the race. In any case, it would have been difficult to hold the advantage with the set-up I had later in the wet conditions. I must be quite content with my first podium in the first season racing this engine class and thank the Boutsen Energy team and our new Austrian co-operation partner PHI Premium Oil for giving me the enormous support I have.”
“Unfortunately, the damage to the car from Norbert’s crash was not able to be repaired in such a short time so therefore we could not participate in the following one-hour endurance race as planned together. With his limited experience in this kind of car, Norbert was already on the way to being very fast and we would have had a genuine chance for victory.”
Joakim Lambotte will start the race. After a few laps, the engine stops. He was in 4th position. The Mazda is back in the stand. Stephane Lemeret will then take the relay of Joakim as the mechanics have succeed to restart the car. And he will be able to finish the race at a 5th position of the Silhouette category.
Still a few reliability problems, but this time again, this Mazda has proved that the speed was there.. : after the Pole in the Qualifying session, the best lap in Race 1 and 2 !!!
Dimitri Enjalbert will not finish the last race of the championship. Second before the pit-stop, his car will have to stop due to the numerous chocs given by the stupid driver Hirschi.

Margot Laffite, will finish at a beautiful 10th position as Marlene, on Saturday.
on a wet track, the Mazda will start from the 3rd position, for the race on Sunday afternoo.

We tought we could win ..
Starting from the pole, Stéphane Lemeret, was quicky leading the race, just before Fred Bouvy. Joakim, could not restart the car after the pitstop and lost a few seconds. He was then in second position. But was nearly in the tires of the leading car. Some fuel pressure problem appears in the last lap.. The Mazda will be classified at the 4th position

As in the BTCS, the win was not far,
Dimitri will be leading the race till the last lap. Knowing some fuel problem, he will have to finish at the second position. The next race is for tomorrow, he will do all his best to become Vice-Champion 2009.Marlene will finish at a very nice 10th position. David crashed in the first lap.

Dimitri Enjalbert: “It’s a long track. It took me some time to get things sorted, but at the end of the day we’re in pretty good shape. In my opinion the title is still to go for. You never know what can happen in a final when the stakes are high. It’s up to me to seize any opportunity I may get. In any event, I’ve got to go for the win and nothing less.”

My last week-end was the most difficult with my output in Q2; when I was in a good lap but also because of the wheather conditions. This is only the second time that I am driving in the rain. I tried to limit the consequences for the championship but it was not easy to follow the rythm of the race. ..
I am sad that the season is already over; it happened much too fast."

Joakim : "This week-end has been very difficult due to the wheather conditions. After 2 very good starts, (I was in 3rd and 4th position), i have penalised by 2 drive trough.
No chance for a podium, no second place for the general classification.
During this season, I have had very nice but also very difficult moments. However, even if the final classification is not as good as i was hoping, I would like to thank the team members for their fanstastic job.

Not that much results four our drivers,
First session : Nicolas is 10, Joakim is 12.
Second session : Joakim is 8 and crash for Nicolas Metairie. Still classified 21.

A lot of people this week-end at Nurburgring for the Clio Cup, as the German and Italian Clio drivers were participating to our Championship.
A first busy race with a lot of crashes, and runaways and twice the safety car during the race.
Joakim finished twice at the second position.
Nicolas Metairie was the first Junior for the second race.
Joakim : "It was very important for me to get better results after my difficult week-end at Zolder last week. I am happy with my 2 podiums but I really wanted to win to thank my mechanics for their fantastic job. I will do all what I can during next races to become Vice-Champion."
Nicolas : "It was a difficult week-end as i didn't know the track. I had some engine problem during the firt race. I am impatient to go back to Spa for the last meeting of the season"
General classification, Joakim is now 3rd and Nicolas 5th.
Junior classification : Nicolas is second.

David Dermont, was very quick during the practices and qualifying sessions but had to abandon during the races, Margot and Marlene are 14th and 17th.
Race 1 :
Dimitri Enjalbert :"It's a circuit i'm very happy on, so i'm delighted with this win. I got off to a good start which allowed me to get past Verschuur. I pushed hard at the start of the race to put some space between us. I had to be extra careful towards the end of the race as there was a lot of gravel on the track. It's my sixth win, we'll see what happens tomorrow, but i have even higher hopes for the championship now."
Race 2 :
Dimitri Enjalbert : «It has been a perfect weekend.! With seven wins, we set a new record in Eurocup Megane Trophy. And the season isn't over yet ! I didn't get a great start but we made up for that during the pit-stop. At the end of the race, i just held on. We've had a great car during all week-end. »
Formula Le Mans - Magny Cours
Endurance week-end with 3 one-hour races. 2 podiums - best laptime for Dominik Kraihamer Race 1 : Robert and Kraihamer are 3rd, Chalandon and Scheier 4th. Race 2 : It is now for Chalandon & Scheier to be on the podium (3rd) Robert & Kraihamer are 4th. Race 3 : Robert and Kraihamer finish 4th and Scheier and Chalandon are 5th.
Lionel Robert : It was very nice for me to take part to this Endurance meeting, just after the week-end at Silverstone. I am sure that we will win races next year. I would like to thank the team members, Massimo, Olivier and Georges. And my teammate Dominik Kraihamer. I hope we can share the car next season".
Dominik Kraihamer : "It has been a good week-end. I still need a lot of experience, but I'm already happy with my laptimes (best lap time for Dominik). I have shown that I was very fast during the race. The work of the team and drivers has been very good. I liked very much to drive with the Boutsen Energy Racing team."
We were missing a Victory in the Clio Championship, we now have it .... !

Joakim : "This week-end has been very frustrating. Engine broken on Friday, good starts of races, but i could not follow the other drivers during the races, due to lack of engine power. It will now be difficult the win the Championship. I now will concentrate my-self to the general podium."
Nicolas : "It was a very good week-end with a super Victory for Race 1. I am very happy because we have worked a lot. And I would like to thank the team. Race 2 was more difficult as I missed my start. But I finish at the 5th position, which remains correct. I am impatient to race at Nurburgring, I like this kind of circuit. I hope I can win again."
New drivers discovering the Formula Le Mans at Silverstone this week-end.
Luke Hines (from SIlverstone) and Lionel Robert have directly found the good way to drive the car,
as they finished 4th for the Race 1, and 3rd for the Race 2.
Dominik Kraihamer : " I have learned a lot during the week-end. For me, it is very important to get experience. It is my first season in this kind of car, and I have a lot to discover. I like to work with the "Boutsen Energy team", they love what they do and they are very motivated. I am really lucky to drive in the team, and hope we will have a lot of success together.
Lionel Robert : "I really enjoyed this race. It is fantastic to finish on the podium on my first outing and it is a big surprise for me. I tested the car before the meeting and it only proved what I'd thought. It is very quick and very easy to drive. I would like to thank Boutsen Energy Racing for giving me the chance to tackle this new branch of the sport. Luke did a great job especially at the end when he caught our rivals. I hope to race again very soon."
Luke Hines : " It is very different in relation to the GT1s that I normally race. I had to rethink a lot of aspects of my driving to adapt to a prototype like this. I'm delighted to have had this experience as the car's great and what I reall liked was that I was always batting with someone. It is a fantastic championship."

Our Clio, after 21 Hours, is still second of category.
After some problems in the begining of the race, (the Clio was in the last position..), our car is now 15th in the General classification, and second of category.

Nicolas Metairie : "I am happy after this week-end, even if I didn't win the race. The work of the team and engineers, and the advises of experimented drivers (as Dimitri Enjalbert) help me a lot. Very nice 4th position for our second car, driven by Dominik Kraihamer and Mathieu Cheruy.
Dimitri Enjalbert: “My tyres were still cold when I arrived in the first corner as we had only one formation lap. In addition, we‘ve had brake problems since the start of the weekend as the pedal’s soft. These two factors caused me to go straight on at the start. Once I got to grips with the brake pedal I was able to fight back. I passed Mathieu and then caught Nico. I was in the lead when I handed over to Gary. He quickly understood how the brake pedal worked and it wasn’t too big a problem for him. We finished third, which isn’t too bad. I hope we’ll be as satisfied this afternoon, but it’ll be difficult!”
Gary Chalandon:“I went out just in front of Gavin. I was told that the brakes were a bit tricky. I was very cautious as I didn’t want to visit the scenery despite a couple of nasty moments. I tried to hang on to third place to score a big haul of points, and the first rule in that case is to finish the race. Without our niggling problems we could have done better, but it’s pretty good overall. We’ll try and do as well this afternoon.”

Dimitri Enjalbert:“I just love this circuit. It’s the event I was really looking forward to, and I love driving this car. I was on the pace very quickly today, which wasn’t difficult as the car was very good. I think we’ll be on the podium in the first race tomorrow if I make a good start and open up a gap during my stint, and hand over to Gary with a good lead. We’ve been on the podium this year on several occasions, but we haven’t won yet: I hope we’ll do it tomorrow. And I think we can. I also hope that the weather will be fine especially as I didn’t run in the wet this morning in free practice.”
Our driver Johan-Bpris Scheier was leading the race till the pit-stop ...He was followed by Jerome D'Ambrosio, who could not pass him..

Dimitri Enjalbert:“We started further back today. Gary maybe took a little longer to get into the rhythm. After that he drove a superb race without the slightest mistake. When I got in I managed to carve my way up through the field fairly easily and scored the point for the fastest lap (officially the fastest lap was set by d’Ambrosio, but he was not allowed to score the point), and then I found myself behind Toulemonde. We had a great scrap and it was fun racing against him. I’d have liked to have won the battle but it wasn’t possible. Too bad! I can’t wait to be at the Nürburgring as it’s the circuit I like the most. It should be a good weekend for me!”

Dimitri Enjalbert: “Qualifying didn’t go off very well for us. Since then we’ve improved the
car’s handling, and that enabled me to fight my way up through the field in the opening
stages. After I handed over to Gary we were given a drive –through penalty ‐ it’s a pity! Too
bad for us! Gary is making more and more progress and that’s making things all the more
interesting. I hope we’ll be fighting for the podium again tomorrow.”
Gary Chalandon: “The track was getting hotter and hotter towards the end and the car
oversteered a lot. It wasn’t easy to keep Gavin behind me till the finish, but I managed.
Without the drive through, I think we could have had an even better result. I’m feeling
more and more at home in the car. Dimitri did a superb stint in the race, and we know what
we are capable of. I hope that we’ll be able to fight for podium finishes on a more regular
basis from now on.”
Pit-stop was too fast for our team but also for other drivers, 5 in total.. Only 3 cars were penalized.. ...

Dominik Kraihamer: “It’s my first time here and it’s a pretty amazing circuit. There are many corners without much visibility and in the race I think that’ll be a bit dangerous if there’s an accident. Everybody will have to be very careful. It’s all still very new for me as I drove the car for the first time at Le Mans and I’m slowly finding my feet. I haven’t yet worked out the right setup for the car, but we’re making progress with each lap. Tomorrow, the aim will be to finish on the rostrum. I’m still learning and all these efforts are good for my experience as my main aim is to prepare for the 2010 season.”
Johan-Boris Scheier: “It’s a real discovery! It’s not easy to find your marks as there are a lot of blind corners. Practice went off well even if we weren’t able to do a lot of setup work. But at Le Castellet, we did a lot of preparation for this event and we haven’t had any unpleasant surprises. Tomorrow, our aim will be a place on the front row.”
The third round of the Formula Le Mans will take place on the new Algarve circuit in Portugal.

Eurocup Megane Trophy - le Mans - Saturday 18/07/09
QUALIF : Double pole for Dimitri, David is 8th and 7th, Margot Laffite is 14 and 13th.
Race 1 : Transmission broken on the grid ... Dimitri can not start the race !!!!! Very difficult conditions for the race, all the drivers starting the race with slick tyres, .. Very heavy rain during the second part of the race. Our drivers remains with the slick tyres. But it is very difficult for them to stay on the track. Margot Laffite finished the race at a wonderful 6th position.. David Dermont was at 2nd position when he spuns , and finishes at the 7th position.
The mechanics are already working very hard to solve the problem on the car. Let's cross the fingers for tomorrow.

Ce n’était pas possible de faire un bon chrono sans chausser des gommes neuves, nous avons donc monté un train en fin de séance. La voiture est efficace, j’aime ce circuit où j’ai gagné l’année dernière. Cinq victoires consécutives ça me tente bien, je suis plus motivé que jamais. »
Race 1 : A few seconds after the start of the race, there is a crash in the "Raidilon". Stéphane Lemert can avoid the other cars. David Dermont will finish 3rd .. but the car has already some fuel pump problems.
Race 2 : There is now some rain.. The Mazda RX8 will even not finish the formation lap.. the car is in fire...Abandon for the Mazda.

Dimitri Enjalbert (Boutsen Energy Racing) picked up where he left off in Budapest in Eurocup Mégane Trophy to claim his third win of the season, leading the first race at Silverstone from start to finish.
Dimitri Enjalbert: “It’s a very good day for me. I bagged two pole positions and it’s my third victory since the beginning of the season. I got off to a good start and attacked all-out to open up a lead over Mike Verschuur. I won here in FIA GT3 and so I like this circuit a lot.”
Next week-end, the team will be in England, for the Eurocup Megane Trophy at Siverstone circuit.
After 2 winnings in Hungary, Dimitri Enjalbert will try to win again in England, where he has already finished first in FIA GT3 European Championship.

Gary Chalandon : « It is really not easy here. We don't have a lot of laps to learn..It is difficult to learn such a long track. ! The technical part of the track - the Porsche corners - need to be learned lap by lap. Yesterday, the wheather conditions were bad.. but today i have made a good qualifying session. »

Finally, the Mazda RX 8 has won a race in the Belgian Touring Series Championship ..
Race 1 : pole position, Ludovic Sougnez is second after one lap, but takes the lead after a few minutes. It is raining. David Dermont will keep the gap when finishing the race in first position.... A lot of emotion for the team members and the drivers...
Race 2 : David, qualified 7th, has already some problem with the engine..He is 12th after one lap.. He will then drive like crazy and when Ludovic Sougnez takes the car, he is 4th position. Everybody is looking at the timing board.
Ludovic Sougnez becomes 3rd, and then second, and finish the race is FIRST position with a gap of 9 seconds. And the best lap...!!!!

Qualifying session has been stopped because of the rain; Mickael Rossi, who is replacing Dimitri Enjalbert, is 3rd and 2nd but got a penality. He will start from the rear of the grid for the 2 races !
Race 1: abandon for Mickael Rossi, David Dermont finish 10, Marlene Broggi has been pushed in the last lap... Race 2 : Rossi has to start from the rear of the grid, but is already 6th after 1 lap...After a few laps, he is just after the leader of the race; unfortunately, he spon.. and finish 3rd. David Dermont will be 6th after a very good race. Margot Laffite, will finish 12.
Next meeting in Hungary,Budapest, 13 and 14 of June
Nice start for our 2 Clio Cup Belgium drivers, Joakim Lambotte and Nicolas Metairie. Joakim will be leading the Race 1 for a few laps.. (and finish 4). Nicolas Metairie will have the second best lap in race.... for his first Clio race.

5th for the Qualifying session, the Mazda seems to be reliable. Race1 : First podium for the team, as Renaud Derlot and Tony Samon, finish in the 3rd position !!! Race 2 : Accident in the second race, a few minutes before the end of the race; ... The Mazda was then in second position....

Race 1 : It is raining on the starting grid !!.. It is necessary to put the wet tires .. Dimitri is leading the race for a few laps, .. but loose control of his car.. The race is over for him. Race 2 : Belgian weather here in Barcelona. It is raining again on the starting grid.. It is difficult to find the right set-up with such weather conditions. Dimitri will finish 10, Marlene 17 and David 19.

2nd and 4th for the Qualifying sessions Race 1 : David Dermont is leading the race during the first laps, but will be quicky back to the stand, with technical problems. A few stops later, and all the hopes of team are gone.. Race 2 : Stephane Lemeret will not be more lucky. Again, he will know new problems.. and will not finish the race. The Mazda RX8 is a very quick car, but still difficult to keep it reliable.
