Along with the World Series Formula Renault 3.5 championship, the Mégane Trophy first appeared in 2005 as part of the World Series by Renault.This powerful prototype, driven by its 360bhp V6 engine, makes the most of ground effect aerodynamics to ensure it stays firmly on track.
Mégane Trophy is designed to be fun to drive: its sophisticated aerodynamics keep it firmly pinned to the ground allowing it to corner at very high speeds.The semiautomatic, dual paddle control gearbox similar to that used in F1 means the driver need never take his hands off the wheel!
The European Championship travels throughout major European countries, and is racing on a lot of Formula 1 circuits.
