Fabien will stay with us next season..

 

Arrived last year in our team, the Swiss driver has re-signed for one season  with us.

And we're delighted.

 

 

 

For his first year into this Eurocup Megane championship, Fabien has shown its potential : he is now ready to score more points and to climb onto the top step of the podium.  

 

That's what we wish for him.

 

 

Fabien Thuner: "The Eurocup 2010 is completed, it is time to prepare 2011. It's official, I will attend the Eurocup Megane Trophy with the team Boutsen Energy Racing for the 2011 season. Before that, I am preparing to be at the top for the start of the Championship.  My programme : karting, running on other cars, driving on ice and physical preparation. And full throttle on 2011! "

 

 

Jochen Habets

 

We welcome in our team  the young Dutch Jochen Habets, who shone during the final round of the GT Open Championship at Zolder. He will participate to the Eurocup Megane Trophy Championship, in the World Series by Renault.

 

This Championship will begin with collective test in March, the first race is scheduled at Motorland in Spain on 17.04.2011. The next meeting will take place as every year at Spa-Francorchamps, on May 1st, 2011.

The next collective tests will be held at Barcelona, where we will welcome our 3rd Megane driver, Michele Faccin, who joins Fabien Thuner and Jochen Habets.

 

The young italian driver, (21 years old), has already a nice route since he started to race in 2005.

2006 : 5th Formula Azzurra, 5th Winter Trophy Formula Renault 2.0

2007 : 5th LO Formule 2.0 Suisse championship

2008 : 2nd Formula Renault Italy, 9th Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup

2009 : 5th Copa de Espana, European F3 Open championship, races in the Italy and British F3 International Series,

2010 : Superstars GT Sprint F430 GT2 Imola, 6 hours of Vallelunga Renault Megane V6,

2011 : Eurocup Megane Trophy

 

 

 

His car will have the number 27.

 

2010 : 4 cars for our team and the 4th position general ranking.

 

 

Number 5 : Caroline Grifnee and Vito Rodrigues will share the wheel, 1 qualif and 1 race for each driver.

 

 

 

Number 6 : Fabien Thuner, has joined our team, coming from the Formula Renault 2.0.

His best position, 4th. The podium is no more far, now.

 

 

 

Number 8 : Renaud Derlot has joined our team for the race at Hockenheim.

He replaces David Dermont and will finish the season 2010 with us.

Number 70 : Dimitri Enjalbert, 5th general ranking, 1 pole, 1 win at Spa-Francorchamps, and 4 podiums.

 

 

2009 : Team ranking : 3rd.
